About BIFA Samdrupjongkhar
At the National level, BIFA is patronized by His Majesty the King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk as the president. There are 4 BIFA offices along southern border namely Samtse Chapter, Phuentsholing Chapter, Gelephu Chapter and Samdrupjongkhar Chapter.
The Office of the BIFA Samdrupjongkhar Chapter is located at SD Eastern Bhutan Ferro Silicon Head Office and is headed by Dasho Goob Sonam Dukpa as the Vice-President, appointed under the Royal Command on 28th May 2024. Mr. Tougay Choedup, former Executive Secretary, has been appointed as the General Secretary, and Mr. Teknath Biswa as Treasurer.
BIFA Samdrupjongkhar Chapter is supported by 4 Sub Chapters known as Groups, namely Nganglam Group, Samdrupjongkhar Group, Samdrupcholing Group, and Jomotsangkha Group. All Sub Chapters are headed by a Program Secretary each as detailed in the member list.
BIFA Association envisages supporting events and cultural projects with artists such as musicians, dancers, craftsmen, athletes, media personnel, and academics through visits and exhibitions in neighboring towns in Assam and within Samdrupjongkhar.

Socio-economic and Cultural Ties
Fostering socio-economic and cultural ties between the peoples of Bhutan and India.
People-to-People Relationships
Advocating and promoting "people-to-people" relationships, particularly students, youths, and the common people at the grassroots level.
